FYI to Kendra:
Yanco and I have done all the sewing and production out of our 2 bedroom house. I just recently hired a sewer to help me with the new ALLINONE stuff. We do not mass produce. We have done everything from website design, logo design, catalogues, door to door sales, sewing, etc. by ourselves. It has been a challenge especially since our sales have grown. Keeping up professionally and our standard of quality is important yet tough when funds, time and space are limited. I think we all know how that feels. Anyhow, let me know...
Thanks again

When Cole first contacted me about writing up a review for a top tube pad, I figured he was just being a dick. It's like, I make barpads. I'm not going to try to up-sell someone else's. I figured, like most men, he was just looking for an excuse to talk to me, so I threw him a bone, and told him to send it on.
It arrived in a box that also contained my birthday present which was NOT a white cougar that I could train as a seeing-eye cougar, like we had previously agreed on. But I was really stoked to see how nice the top tube pad is.
It's made by a company called Yanco Pads. I immediatly went to the site at yancopads.com, and it lists this particular pad's features as having a 3M Scotchlite reflected label, an egrips non-slip silicone patch, and it's water-resistant. Thus, leaving my dinky knitted (albeit, handmade with love) barpads in the dust.
These top tube pads are wicked rad. There's a ton of patterns to choose from on their site, and a lot of information about all of their products.
It looks great on my bike, and I'll definatly keep it on to see how it fairs during the spirit crushing, death of fun that is a Vermont winter. But, if I had to guess, I reckon it'll likely make it through the season fine.
I don't love that the egrip patch on the underside of the pad doesn't really adhear to the fabric very well, and there's no "About Us" link on the website, so I'm not sure if it's a whole mass production situation, or if it's just some cat in a shop.
Either way, it's quality stuff.
