Back in December I was pedicabbing at bears games and it was stupidly cold. I went to rei to get some tights in hope of being semi warm. I went trough all the tights and came across the power stretch pants. I liked the feel there pretty thick and I have had polartec stuff in the past so I plunked down the $75.00 (that’s what you get when you buy tights in the winter) I have to say they were worth the $75.00 I wore these almost every day the winter. The fact they were relaxed fit is cool because you can war them under jeans and not feel like your being squeezed to death. There warm and wick moister well I wore them with my rain pants once and sweated a lot I was dry but my inside of my rain pants was full of moisture and my legs were totally dry. There not the most wind proof tights and they do ok in the rain not waterproof but the water kind of runs off. I have to say these were one of the best pieces of gear I had all winter but if I don’t see them again till fall I will be happy.
