Update 6.10.09

I just realized I never wrote my review of the Swobo jersey... I'm cool with it because now I've spent some time with it.

First off, I have to say that for a jersey it's pretty low key which I like- no crazy colors or logos- its nice. I dig the half zip. The zipper goes low so you can show of your manly white chest like I do on hot days (or cleavage! -ED).

The three pockets in the back are a good size to hold plenty of snacks, rain gear, a pump, water bottle, or whatever you would want to carry back there. I really don’t need to mention the wool aspect because I believe I have made it clear though out my reviews how much I love wool, so we will just leave it at that.

The one thing I don’t like so much is it tends to creep up. Maybe its just my girlish hour glass shape, but this thing ends up letting half my back show to the world. That being said, I did screw up once and dryer dried after washing it, so that may have something to do with it maybe Brandon could chime in with whether or not his does the same thing...(Nope. I have not put mine in a dryer, nor does it ride up on me. figure wise, were somewhat similar, except Cole is stretched out anther 6-8 inches, so maybe it's the dryer/height combo...Brandon).
Overall I like it and wear it a lot. (me too- it's so comfy, not to mention classy! -Brandon). I'm interested to see how it handles in the hot weather, but I'm sure it will be fine.

p.s. my nappy beard is long gone...b.

Before getting this, I had never worn a jersey before, nor did I intend to. I’ve always known that they serve a purpose in a cyclist’s wardrobe, just not mine. After wearing one for a couple weeks it’s completely changed my mind. This one is made out of super soft, 18.5 micron merino wool. It’s so comfy- I honestly feel so sorry for those of you out there allergic to wool! This particular Merino wool comes from the south Island of New Zealand! Fits perfect, and looks really nice- nice enough to go out in even. however, being short sleeved, it’s making a great base layer during these winter months. Features a half zip front, mock neck, and embroidered Swobo logo on the left sleeve. Also has three pockets on back, which I am yet to use. This jersey comes in variety of colors- mine is tree mud. Merino wool has many benefits, and can be worn when it’s hot or cold. To learn more about this product, and merino wool, visit their site via the link at the top of the page!

Swobo was kind enough to send along two jerseys, and Brandon sent me one of them knowing how I feel about wool. I agree with Brandon- this jersey is great. I have been out on my Pedi-cab in 19-degree weather, and this was one of my four layers. I like the high collar- it keeps you warm! I’m usually a full front zip guy, but this zipper goes down far enough to show off my unmuscular chest in the summer. The pockets are deep and will hold plenty of snacks. The other plus is this jersey looks nice enough to wear into a restaurant and not look like your part of the tour de france! I give it 9 out of 10 stars!!!
