First, let me say that I am an avid chapstick/lip-gloss consumer. You could even say that I am a little bit obsessed with it, so I was stoked to receive free lip-gloss to review.
Upon first application of the “rise and shine lip-gloss,” it felt gritty. After a few uses, I realized that the “gritty feeling” was an excellent exfoliant for my lips! So it turns out that the gritty feeling is a major bonus – it makes your lips super soft! It also has a minty smell and feel, which leaves you with a great, tingling, cooling sensation after every application! The lip-gloss contains peppermint & spearmint oils per the label, as well as vitamins and herbs.
The only downer for me is the pink/pearl tint the lip-gloss offers, but I’m a no lipstick kind of girl. The tint is so slight that it still has me coming back for more. Sportique says the tint helps to “even out your lips.”
Not a bad deal for a really nice lip-gloss!
