Hands down, this is the raddest coffee mug I've EVER seen in my life! I'm not just hyping up the product either. Trust me, if you love coffee like you love bikes, I guarantee that you'll want this mug, and that it's for you.

These guys know their stuff too. The mug was first made in 2001 by a bike mechanic named Ben, in Minneapolis, MN. Ben is a year 'round commuter, and he liked to drink a gulp at red lights in the winter- who wouldn't?

As Ben came to a red light one winter morning, he slipped on the ice and the handle of his plastic cup broke on the spot. When he got to the shop, he fastened on a brake lever to the side of his mug.

Everyone that rode that he ran into wanted one, so he made a few for friends & locals. The Scallywags mug was born, and things just took off from there. Like I said, it's the raddest mug I've EVER seen, and I had to have one too! Now that I have one, my opinion stands firm.

The brake lever handle is the best idea for a handle I've ever seen. The 3-D embossed Scallywags logo is a bomb ass logo, and looks killer popping off the mug. Put them both together on a 14 oz. stainless steel mug, and it just looks smooth, a definite head-turner. People will be instantly stoked and want one too. You'll probably get stopped a lot. Everyone I've run into seems to love it...

On top of making the raddest coffee mug ever, they also know their coffee. They sell different beans on their site, and got to be a part of Project Rwanda's Coffee Bike Project, and learned a lot about beans. They even sent along a delicious Ethiopian blend with my mug, which was delicious!

It's a great mug for every bicycle enthusiast. I really can't say anything bad about it, because there isn't. Honest. Hot coffee stays REALLY HOT too. The perfect thing to get the chill off on a cold day. But I suspect that you'll be like me- I use mine daily, no matter what the weather is.
