Ready to pedal- ride more drive less. What a great title for a DVD...
I was given a copy of this DVD to review for the site. I was warned ahead of time that’s its pretty basic stuff and I might not to into it. I watched it this morning and thought it was good. It was pretty basic, but that’s the crowd it’s made for.
This DVD is something you would recommend to a co-worker or friend who wants to start commuting but doesn’t know were to start. The DVD goes through a lot of things about bicycling.
They start with the basics and get more advanced as it moves along. I think this DVD to will help people get more prepared to ride. I really like that the DVD covers racks and panniers- they say you can carry a bag but strongly suggest a rack and pannier to carry all your heavy stuff. I like this because I feel I see a lot of people unhappy because they don’t know how to carry all the stuff on the road.

I also like that they teach people how to fix a flat and recommend tools to carry. I think this DVD is a great product- right now so many people are starting to commute and I see people doing crazy shit every day and I think this DVD will really help out.
I’m going to give my copy to my mom- even though she’s been riding for years I feel a lot of the visuals will help her understand her bike more. If you know someone who is thinking of commuting, let him or her know about this DVD- or better yet, be a good commuter yourself and get the DVD for him or her!
