Pace makes a a wide variety of cycling caps and they come in just about any flavor you like. I'd been wanting a brown hat, so I was pretty stoked when I came across this.

The Classic line all have a minimal stripe down the middle, and that's it. No logos or anything- just a great cap with a stripe. I like that a lot. Then again, I've always been a fan of stripes.

Basics: it's a 3-panel dome cap, and the bill- or visor (toe-may-toe, ta-mah-toe...) is a little longer on this model. It's really rad while still retaining full flipability. I think I just made that word up- at least according to the automatic spell checker- wait- it should technically be hyphenated, but I'm claiming it as my word! Go ahead and say it- flipability....feels good!

Speaking of feeling good, it does feel pretty damn good. Besides being cotton, its got twill tapered seams, and a KoolFit elastic sweatband on the inside to keep you cool- not just cool looking, but temperature wise too!

One size fits all, so they say. Damn near I'll bet!

Pace also makes custom hats with 5 different bill/visor lengths. The infamous Stevil Kinevil / All Hail the Black Market got his hats from Pace, so if you're one of the lucky few who own an AHTBM cap, you know what I'm talking about!

I've had mine on more or less since I got it. I let my hair grow out for the winter to stay a little warmer- not to mention to see what it'd look like since I've been shaving my head since high school (hell, 20 years!)- then I let it go all spring too. By summer it was pretty long & thick- at least where it still grows. I knew it didn't look so hot, my girlfriend was hating it, half my friends thought it was funny like I did, the other half were just like "whoa." Not a Joey "whoa" either. The bad kinda "whoa"... I'll even admit that I was looking like the old metal dudes I used to laugh to myself about- no business or party in the front or on the top- pretty damn bald.

You wouldn't know it when I had my Pace cap on, but if I took it off for a second and you saw it, you'd be like: "Whoa.".

So I finally shaved it, but i left a little strip to do whatever it wants- although I had that really white Star Wars guy in mind with the big thing on the side of his head that kinda wraps around his neck...yeah- THAT dude! So my hair still looks stupid, but that's what hair does.

Hats make you look cool because they ARE cool, and Pace is taking care of that for me. Thanks Pace!!! If you could use a new cap- and when it comes down to it, who couldn't? Check Pace out- they've got all kinds of options for ya!

OK- somehow this got deleted from our main product reviews page and I wrote a completely new review for this cap without even knowing until I went to put it up, so here it is, updated!

This has been my go to hat since it arrived awhile back. It's almost just a straight up cycling cap...almost. Made of a heavyweight cotton twill, it's a three panel dome with a traditional flip up visor. What helps set it apart from other cycling caps is its KoolFit® elastic headband.

Pace has prints as well as solids available, with solids having a ribbon that I like to think of as a racing stripe running all the way down the middle from the bill to the back. Available in all sorts of flavors, I went with chocolate with a red ribbon. Snazzy.

Pace's Classic Cap also has a longer bill on it than a lot of cycling caps- I totally dig it. They also make a lot of custom hats for all sorts of people with four different bill sizes to choose from. One size fits all...
