Minnehaha Bag Co. - Utility Pannier

I've never used a pannier before Cole sent this one to me. Now, I try and find reasons to use it all the time. Mainly, it just comes to the grocery store with me because, although it won't fit a standard sized paper grocery bag, it does hold a small load.

I like how simple it is to mount and remove from my rear rack. And I like the black canvas. I don't love that the accents are leather. They'd be just as "ruggedly handsome" in canvas. Also, though the bag is tapered on the bottom, my heel still knocks it constantly. I've tried moving it around on the rack to prevent this, but it still happens.

That aside, it's a super useful bag. I plan to use it on some photography bike trips because it'd be easier to access my camera and supplies from this bag than it was using a backpack. Also, good for library trips, and day trips.

If Minnnehaha Bag Co. made a few styles without leather, I'd likely purchase a few for longer trips.

I'd like to quickly add that Minnehaha was really rad and asked us to send a couple patches in and they'd sew them on for us, and we did, and so did they! It looks pretty dope if you ask me... we've got another Minnehaha bag coming up next week! -brandon
