Before the review of the fork lets talk about Jonny. I met Jonny two years ago at the fixed gear gallery symposium (if you haven't gone you should because...well you get to meet people like Jonny) he was supper cool and really helpful. He gave me some pointers on getting a seat post unstuck. When I needed a fork for my project bike I emailed him with my fingers crossed, he said yes and a few months later this showed up. I can't believe how nice it is! The paint is really nice and the checkers give it kind of a ska look which I makes me happy. The fork is his twin plate track fork, no holes for a brake. It's a stiff fork I was riding a Surley that was a little softer, but I like the stiffness. He gave me plenty of room to add spacers being 6 foot 4 this makes me happy too! What's there to say? I'll let the pictures do the rest. If you want a really nice bike that you won't see 10 more of locked up in front of the local "cool" bar, save your money and give Jonny a call.
The problem I'm having is that I don't think my frame fits this fork. My frame is a $250 frame, over sized aluminum and it just looks funny, so I think I'm going to have to buy a steel frame to put this on.... hmmmm wonder what frame builder I'm going to work with...
