I've been looking for a good saddle bag for a while lately, and in steps The Guppy from Detours.

I recently moved when I first got it and, I was without my bike for a few weeks. I ended up using it as my go to bag inside my BIG bag. Being super padded, I knew I could throw just about anything in it and toss it in without fear of any of it being broken.

The Guppy comes in three different sizes (and colors too!)- each an inch longer than the other, so I split the difference and went with a medium- 40 cubic inches of space, 7" x 3.5" x 2.5", and weighs in at 4.5 ounces.

As my "go to bag", it has plenty of room for a pocket camera, money, cards, my meds, and it even has a built in key ring clip... and with room to spare! On the bike, more of the same: tube, levers, Co2 cartridges, keys, and anything i don't want in my pockets with room to spare.

A large might come in nice if you need a place to stash a longer wrenches & other tools, or like/need to bring quite a bit with you wherever you go...

The bag attaches super easy with velcro straps on each side rail of your saddle- or seat if you prefer, with a thick rubber strap with a loop & hook on the other side accommodate most- if not all seat posts. It comes off just as easy for when you're off the bike and want/need to take it with you.

Other features that I like are that it's weatherproof, has reflective piping, and a reflective logo on the back that's atop a strap that can accommodate a light if so desired. Mine still fits on my seat post fine though. Did I mention it's super padded?

As far as cons go, I'm still waiting...but not a single one yet.

The Guppy and it's contents have already survived a couple of bachelor party spills, and is still going strong, looking like I got it yesterday.

If you're looking for a good seat bag, thus one's for you- it won't disappoint! I'd even consider the large too. the extra inch might be nice- especially for touring! Cheers to Detours for making such a great seat bag!
