the first review is from me, cole. a few weeks ago i thought that it was about time for a new jacket. the hand-me-down Columbia i've been rocking was just too warm, so i did a little reserch and came across Foxwear clothing. i instanly liked them because their website is a no frills site, very similar to ours. in fact, they seem to be a lot like us in many regards. i was leaning toward the Evap jacket, but had few questions, so i decided to call and ask. i got to talk directly to lou, who runs the buisness. he was super cool, down to earth and very helpful. i had my choice in how thick i wanted the material to be and what colors i wanted. i also told him that i'm six foot four and most jackets are too short in the arms and there's the added bonus of having my ass hang out when i ride. he told me that he could add some length to the arms and to the back for me, and said he could have the jacket to me in week - maybe a week and half. i thought, "cool!" and asked him how he took care of the monetary end of things. he said he would send a bill with the jacket and i can just send him a check. that was super sweet. a week and a half goes by and my jacket shows up, just like he said. it fit perfect; arms long enough to keep my wrists warm, and a back long enough to cover my ass. i've ridden in all kinds of weather now (this is michigan), and it sheds rain and snow, it breathes great - no more sweat soaked shirts when i get to work. it's really good in the wind, you can feel a little breeze in the side panels - but it's nothing to worry about. also, it doesn't bunch up under my messenger bag which is great too. over all i'm really happy with it. the only thing that kinda bothers me is the zipper, it's a plastic large tooth zipper and wind goes through it a bit. a strip of material sewn on the inside behind the zipper would help (just an idea). overall, the Evap jacket rules and for $80 bucks you're not going to find anything better, plus, this way you know your money won't pay for some fat rich guys Hummer.
