So I've had some more time to spend riding the Dream around, and it's been a great time. Its just a totally different feeling sitting up and being able to sit back...so comfortable! I can't deny that! I got stopped twice today complimenting my bike! That's always a good feeling! It's a fun time to ride, and can go pretty much anywhere. I wouldn't go completely off road with it, but it handles fine on trails too. Like I said the first time, it's still more difficult to climb REALLY big hills- but it can be done! I think this bike would be great for anyone living in a moderately level area with small-medium sized hills.
Last time I reviewed the Dream it was over 90 degrees. It's been in the upper 60's-low 70's, and my back hasn't got too hot- or sweaty for that matter since, so that's been a big plus! While the Dream is comfy without the backrest, for me it's the backrest that hits the spot! It also has a zip shut pocket on the rear of the rest- fairly deep and roomy too. Dual mounts for bottle cages, and even mounts for disc brakes. Really low step through makes it easy to get on and a kickstand for when you get off. A 3 piece crankset with Shimano components.
If you're just getting back into bicycling, looking for something really comfortable, or just looking to try something different, this bike just might be for you. As promised in my first review, I'm going to let Cole's mom borrow it soon so we can get her take on it- she fell in love with it when she saw it on Day 6's website and has been dying to test it out ever since, so bee on the lookout for that in the next few weeks!
