I think I can write off the shirts that I traded for this one, so it's got something on the messenger bag. After my glorious crash in to the snow bank (Dura vision pro headlight review for details), I was in serious need of a new light. Then one day, out of the blue, I get an email from a lady at Cateye who wanted a 'one less car' shirt and wondered if I'd be interested in trading one for a headlight or a computer. Umm, okay, she even threw in an extra mount, so I could use it on both of my bikes. This light runs on AA batteries and will supposedly last 30 hours on low, we shall see. It has two settings, both high and low. High is.well, bright. Low is.well, bright! This light makes me look back at my Dura Vision and think that it wasn't nearly as cool as I originally thought. I'm still in the testing phase though. My preliminary assessment is that it's a nice light. It's bright and pretty tough, but I haven't run it through the snow bank test yet.
