Boneshaker: A Bicycling Almanac keeps getting better with every almanac. Published four times a year, this is their fourth installment, BA 42-400, and it's no let down.
I get excited every time a new one comes out- there's a few regular sections, like the full moon ride schedule for the season, a section to keep your personal records, commuter journals, and really good interviews. Plus, you can always count on great photography and Illustrations.
They interview interesting people and ask the right questions. This issue, there's an interview with Jeff Maples (author of Pedaling Revolution) and a talk with Brian Evans (editor of Kickstand) about a bike to work day in Denver between the police and commuters. speaking of commuters, the journals are always interesting and inspiring.
New this issue are some practical tips and answers from Bicycle Commuter Betty. Great stuff!
And as always, poetry, love letters, and lots of great stories about bicycling. It always makes me want to go out and ride no matter what it's like outside!
Read Boneshaker- be a part of the Bicycle Army.
