Another excellent issue of Boneshaker, a great little pocket-sized Almanac that if you're not already familiar with, go to their site and check it out. it's worth the few measly bucks. Trust me on this. 111+ pages of bicycling life.
Again, comes with a fill in the blank sheet for you to keep your own personal riding records...i'm assuming each issue will- As a collector I like to keep my collections neat and mint if possible, but it would be fun to copy it & use it- although it has handy info for emergencies and is intended to be carried while riding.
Included this time: a short article on what bicycling means, and regulars like letters, poetry, (the now outdated) Fall/Winter 08/09 full moon ride schedule, more cycling stories and commute journaling.
Also new stuff like taking a long look at the movie B.I.K.E., they'll teach you a few basic evasive moves for riding defensively in traffic, notes from the 2008 Tour De Fat, an interview with Octopus cycling caps, Women and Bicycles in history, another installment on correctly shopping for that new whip, and a diary of riding from Oregon to Maine...
These guys & gals pack a whole lot into this little book, and $6.00 is well worth it. You'll definitely get your money's worth, and if, after reading this, you get one and don't agree with me on how rad it is, yell at me direct-
