Seriously- what a killer rack!
The Cold Springs can be mounted to almost any bike (road/mtb/etc.) with any type of brake- even a 29'er. On or off road- It doesn't matter. It's also suspension compatible...
And you may or may not want it, but the top shelf on this one is fat, and it will come in handy. I totally dug the top shelf on this a lot. It just makes sense. I dug the width a lot too- it just looks- and is really burly.
Two rails to place your pannier depending on its size along with hooks near the skewer to latch the hook on the backside of your pannier (assuming it has one!).
OMM boasts a 50lb. load capacity, but I bet it would hold a lot more if need be...and it only weighs 490g. The Cold Springs model is thier top rated front rack, and if you see it in person, you'd know why. Sometimes pictures don't do justice.
