CARS KILL!
this time of year is a drag, here at the shop. i find myself sitting in front of the computer a lot more. my new favorite web site is www.wikipedia.org . i figure that i might as well be reading sweet information and learning something while i'm stuck sitting here trying to avoid death by boredom. the other day i was reading about automobile accidents and fatality rates. the u.s. had around 40,000 car fatalities in 1994. it climbed to more than 46,000 by 2003. it's 1.2 million world wide. i don't have the exact numbers in front of me and i'm so horrible with computers that i know you can open another window to get to wikipedia - i just don't know how to do it. anyway, this hasn't even really gotten into the explanation of the shirt. i'll make it shorter. the statistics were disappointing. you always hear about how many people got killed in the last plane crash, hurricane or tsunami because they are considered horrendous events - tragedies even. why isn't the fact that we're killing each other 46,000 times a year with cars a tragedy? i think it's pretty sad. the reason for the AK-47 is three-fold. the first reason is because i want to catch peoples attention about the 46,000 people being killed with four wheeled weapons. AK's catch your attention. the second reason is because we're still at war, a supposed "war on terror" - that must be slang for "a war for oil". oil to drive cars. and to make rich white men in business suites even more money.
guns and war go hand in hand. the third reason is solely because i'm fascinated with AK-47's. i've never shot one, but i sure want to. i don't even like guns, really, but those guns just look sweet. the end. or is it?
